Year 7 Transition 2025
Year 7 Transition 2025
Welcome to The Priory Academy LSST Year 7 induction information 2025. We hope that you are looking forward to joining our Academy in September and experiencing all the wonderful opportunities that will become available to you. The Academy will be in contact with families towards the end of May with further details regarding the transition process.
Dates for 2025
Please be aware that our Year 7 Welcome Evening for students, parents and carers will take place on the evening of Tuesday 1st July. Those students with surnames beginning in the letters A-K should arrive for a 5:30pm start and those with surnames beginning in the letters L-Z to arrive for a 6:45pm start. On the evening, you will be able to park in the main academy car park at our Cross O’Cliff Hill entrance, where you will then be required to follow signs to the New Hall located in our Sixth Form Centre.
Our student induction days will follow on Thursday 3rd July and Friday 4th July. The day will start with an assembly in the Old School Hall at 9am where members of staff will greet them. We ask that your child arrives for the day in their primary school uniform, with a notebook, pencil case, and a packed lunch as there will be no restaurant facilities available on the day. The day will end at 2:30pm when there will be an opportunity for parents to informally meet Form Tutors until 4pm in the Old School Hall. If Year 6 students are travelling to the Academy with older siblings, we can accommodate them from 8:30am before the academy day begins and until 3:05pm when the academy day finishes. Should you wish to park in the afternoon, please follow the signs directing you towards the tennis courts as you enter our Cross O’Cliff Hill entrance.
