Careers
The Priory Academy LSST has statutory responsibility for securing access to independent and impartial careers guidance for all students. In the context of this duty, careers guidance consists of services and programmes intended to assist students to make and implement education, training and occupation choices and to learn how to manage their careers. Further information can be found using the menu on the left, this includes The Priory Federation of Academies Trust 'Careers Guidance Policy' and overviews for each year group.

Year 11 Destination data for 2025 – LSST Sixth form 64%, FE/College – 26%, Other Sixth Form 5.2%, Apprenticeships 2%, Football Courses 0.8%, Other 2%

Year 13 Destination Data 2025 – University (including Degree apprenticeships) – 72%, FE/College – 4.5%, Employment – 12%, Apprenticeships (not including degree apprenticeships) – 2.5%, Gap Year – 5.5%, Other (military) – 3.5%.

One of our students went on to study at Cambridge and five students went on to study medicine.

Level of NEETs (Young people Not in Education, Employment or Training) – for 2024 there are no NEET’s from the Year 11 cohort and 3 from Year 13.

Many of our Careers Events such as our Awareness Days and Work Experience placements are evaluated using input from a variety of stakeholders.
We are proud to have achieved the National Quality in Careers Standard through the Licensed Awarding Body Complete-Careers using the Career Mark approach.
