Thousands raised and gifts given!
We have had another successful term of fundraising activities at The Priory Academy LSST. We kicked off our fundraising efforts in September with the Macmillan Coffee Morning which was a great success. This was followed by our Children in Need non-uniform day which raised a massive £1870.61. Students have been involved in growing moustaches in aid of ‘Movember’, the Shoebox Appeal where we sent off an impressive 104 boxes to children all over the world and finally our festive Christmas Jumper Day where we raised £731.17 for Save the Children. Our Year 8 students were also visited by the British Heart Foundation to recognise the great efforts they put in to raise money last year for two academy defibrillators and a donation to the British Heart Foundation. A wonderful effort by all – well done.
