Top Prizes in the Lincolnshire Young Designer of the Year Competition

The Lincolnshire Young Designer of the Year competition requires students to present a design product which best shows their creativity, independent thinking and most innovative, high quality concepts and designs.

An independent judging panel met in May and selected over 30 entries, two of which were Priory students.

The Awards evening was held at the National Centre for Craft & Design in Sleaford on Friday 30th June.

Lucy Valentine was highly commended for her A2 Product Design Textiles product, and James Scott Murphy, A2 Product Design, won Lincolnshire Young Designer of the Year 2017 for his adjustable floor lamp.

It was the third year running that the LSST has taken the top prize in this competition.
