Nace Challenge award for LSST
After a successful inspection by two assessors the Priory Academy LSST has been reaccredited with the NACE award which acknowledges their commitment to stretch and challenge for able pupils.
The school has received excellent feedback with the official report summarising that:
‘Since achieving the Challenge Award in 2011, The Priory LSST Academy has maintained high standards and ensured the school is forward looking, focussing on learning and the progress of all pupils to reach their potential.
The focus on provision for Gifted and Talented students is completely embedded. The impact focussing on able learners has on raising provision for all.
The staff are committed, passionate and daring in their teaching, bringing fun and enjoyment to learning, which is clearly recognised and valued by the pupils.’
The assessors wished to thank everyone who helped prepare for the award and they were particularly impressed with the maturity and eloquence of the pupils they met on the day.
The school is now looking forward to developing our provision for the most able even further and to continuing to help all our pupils achieve the success they deserve.
