Aptitude Tests 2025 (for September 2026 entry) 

As a specialist Academy for Technology, The Priory Academy LSST will admit up to 24 places, 10% of our cohort, into Year 7 based on an aptitude for technology.  Parents who wish to seek a place at the Academy for their child based on aptitude for technology are asked to present their child for an Aptitude Assessment when their child is in Year 6.

Please see below for a link to a letter to parents/carers of Year 6 pupils which explains the details of the Academy’s forthcoming Aptitude Assessment in relation to our Year 7 intake in September 2026. 

Our Aptitude Assessments for Year 6 children will be held on:  

• Saturday 27^th September 2025 at 9.00am
• Saturday 4^th October 2025 at 9.00am 

The same assessment will be available on both Saturdays, so you will only need to attend one assessment.  The focus of the assessment is technology-related, non-verbal reasoning and spatial awareness questions. The assessment lasts one hour and cannot be taken more than once.
