All Computer Science Accelerator (CSA) courses are free to all state-funded schools and academies.  Some courses have subsidies attached, please see individual courses for further details.

Foundation knowledge of computer science for KS3 and GCSE

The sessions within this course are designed to give you the subject knowledge around key topics such as algorithms, data representation, hardware and programming, whilst also exploring useful and engaging strategies for delivering this content in the classroom.

Creative digital media projects

This CPD supports teachers to develop a range of pedagogical skills, helping them to confidently lead students through inspiring digital projects suitable for KS3 computing, supporting progression into technical qualifications in KS4.

Teaching GCSE computer science: improving student engagement - remote

During this one day course you’ll dive deep into teaching and learning. You’ll learn effective ways to encourage girls in GCSE Computer Science using proven strategies. You’ll also explore how to enrich your curriculum, support students with effective homework approaches and ideas for applying hands on learning within the classroom.
